Cheese Egg Rumble Tumble

Today I am sharing a healthy and filling breakfast idea. Friends, today I am sharing the recipe for making Cheese Egg Rumble Tumble. This is one of my favourite breakfast options. It is to easy to make and takes only few minutes to prepare. I am sure both the children and the grown ups would love this.

So lets start with the recipe to make Cheese Egg Rumble Tumble.

Ingredients

Eggs 5

Onion 1 small, finely chopped

Garlic 2 cloves, minced

Green chili 1 or 2 finely chopped (optional)

Carrot finely chopped 2 tbsp

Capsicum finely chopped 2 tbsp

Tomato deseeded and finely chopped 2 tbsp

Black pepper crushed 1 tsp or as per taste

Italian seasoning 1tsp

Cheese slice 3

Salt as per taste

Butter 1 tbsp

Procedure

  • Break and take all the eggs into a bowl and whisk a little to make it smooth
  • Place a pan at medium flames and add the butter. Spread it all over the pan
  • Now, add the garlic and green chili and saute for few seconds. Do not let the garlic turn brown
  • Then, add the onion and stir fry until these turns translucent
  • Next, add the carrot, capsicum and tomatoes and stir fry the veggies for 3 to 5 minutes
  • Add salt and black pepper and mix well
  • Then, add the eggs, and increase the flames to medium high. Gently ladle through the egg at regular intervals. Repeat the process until the eggs get scrambled and the mixture gets dry. Again, reduce the flames to medium low
  • Then, add the cheese slices and cover and cook until the cheese melts
  • Open cover, add the Italian seasoning and mix well and then switch off the flames
  • Serve hot Cheese Egg Rumble Tumble with butter toasted bread and enjoy your yummy breakfast.

Egg Toast

Today I am sharing one of my favorite breakfast idea which is not only mine but also favorite of many of us. Egg Toast is another breakfast item which is very easy to prepare with a simple recipe and great taste. Anybody can make it with ease but tastes delicious. It is also a great lunch box idea for school goers.

So, lets quickly check out the recipe for making Egg Toast.

Ingredients

Eggs 4
Bread 4 to 6 slices
Onion ½ medium sized finely chopped
Green chillies 2 finely chopped
Black pepper powder ½ tsp
Salt as per taste
Oil as per need

Procedure

• Break and add the eggs in a mixing bowl
• Into this, add chopped onion and green chillies, black pepper powder, salt and beat the eggs well
• Place a frying pan on the burner at medium flames and let it heat. Once heated, brush a little bit of oil on it
• Now take a slice of bread at a time, dip it into the egg mixture and then gently place it on the pan and fry
• After few seconds, flip the bread and fry the other side. Once both the sides of the bread is toasted, remove it from the pan and transfer it to a plate
• This way make all the toasts and then serve hot Egg Toast with tomato ketchup and enjoy.


Masala Cheese Omelette

Here I welcome you back to my space, Dish Of Delight once again. I did not share any recipe since few days, as I was enjoying a vacation with my family in my native place. What can be more satisfying than, being with your whole family after a year long wait! Adding to this satisfaction, is the happiness of welcoming the new new year with full enjoyment altogether.

Today I am sharing a breakfast recipe, masala cheese omelette. Many of the non vegetarian and eggetarian people prefers egg in their breakfast menu, whether boiled or omelette or poached. In masala cheese omelette, you can enjoy both omelette and veggies along with cheese. Now let’s jump on to the recipe.

Ingredients

Eggs 4

Grated mozzarella cheese about half a cup

Onion finely chopped, 2 tbsp

Green chilli finely chopped, 2

Grated carrot 2 tbsp

Tomato finely chopped ( only flesh ), 1 tbsp

Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped, 2 tbsp

Capsicum finely chopped, 1 tbsp

Milk 1 tbsp

Salt as per taste

Black pepper powder 2 tsp

Italian seasoning about 2 tsp

Butter or oil enough to cook the omelette

Procedure

  • Break and add the eggs in a mixing bowl, add salt, black pepper powder and beat them well with an egg whisk or fork
  • Add milk and again beat to mix well
  • now add all the veggies and mix well to form an even mixture
  • heat a frying pan over medium high flames. Once hot, add the butter or oil and spread it all over the pan
  • add the egg mixture into the pan, and with the help of a spatula scatter the veggie all over the pan evenly
  • now reduce the flames to medium low, cover and let the omelette cook untill it is mostly done. Do not fully cook the omelette before adding the cheese
  • remove cover and check the omelette. At this stage, when there is still a little bit of runny egg on the top layer, spread and add the grated cheese and Italian seasoning onto one half of the omelette, and gently fold the other half on top of it
  • cover and cook the omelette for another minute or untill the cheese melts and then gently transfer it to a serving plate and serve hot along with bread toast and tomato ketchup.

Vegetable mini pancakes

Hello friends! ‘ Punoray Shagatam Janai’ as we say in Bengali, meaning, welcome back again.

Today I am sharing a simple, healthy and wholesome breakfast idea with you all. It is also a good lunchbox idea for kids. To make it a little bit more healthier, I have replaced all purpose flour with whole wheat flour. 

Ingredients 

 

Whole wheat flour 5 tbsp, heaped

Eggs 2

Milk about 3/4th of a cup or as much to make a batter of right consistency 

Onion 1 medium sized, finely chopped 

Tomato flesh of 1 small sized, finely chopped 

Carrot finely chopped, 2 tbsp

Capsicum finely chopped, 2 tbsp

Green chilli 1 chopped 

Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped, 2 tbsp

Black pepper powder 1 tsp

Red chilli powder 1/4 tsp

Salt as per taste

Sugar as per taste 

Oil for frying the pancakes 

 

Procedure

 

  • take all the vegetables in a mixing bowl, add salt, sugar, black pepper powder, red chilli powder and mix well.
  • add the flour and mix well with the vegetables 
  • break and add the eggs and mix well with the other ingredients of the bowl with the help of a fork
  • now add the milk little by little and keep on mixing with the other ingredients with the help of a whisker untill you get the right consistency of the batter as of pancake’s batter, i.e neither too thick nor too thin.
  • heat a non stick tawa at medium flames. Once the tawa is heated enough, brush some oil and pour a small ladle full of the batter.
  • spread it a little bit to make a round shape with the back of the ladle and cover. Cook untill light brown marks appears. Now flip it to the other side and cook.
  • transfer the pancake to the serving plate or tray and proceed to make the other pancakes
  • once all the pancakes are done serve it with some tomato sauce or you can also pair them with some pan tossed veggies.

Omelette crust pizza

This is a pizza with an omelette crust. In present day who doesn’t like a pizza, especially the children. If you ask them about their favourite food, most of them would reply in one word, and that’s PIZZA.

However, this is healthier than the general pizzas and also easy to make. 

Ingredients

Eggs 5

Onion 1 small sliced 

Capsicum 1/4 cup sliced

Tomato 1 small sliced ( only flesh)

Green chillies 2 chopped

Black olives 2 tbsp

Pizza sauce 2 tbsp or enough to spread all over the crust

Grated mozzarella cheese enough to make it cheese burst

Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp

Salt as per taste

Butter about a tbsp

Procedure

  • break and add the eggs in a mixing bowl. Add salt, black pepper powder and beat well
  • heat a non stick pan at low flames. Once hot add butter and spread all over the pan
  • add the beaten eggs to the pan and tilt a little from all sides to spread it evenly on the pan. Cover the pan and let the egg cook at lowest flames. Cook the egg till a little runny egg is still left on the upper part of the omelette 
  • at this stage, spread the pizza sauce all over the omelette and add the toppings one by one, evenly spreading them all over the crust. Finally spread the grated cheese all over the pizza and cover and cook untill the cheese melts
  • once done, dish out the pizza, sprinkle the pizza seasoning all over the pizza and serve hot with some tomato ketchup 
  • unlike the general pizzas, you can enjoy the omelette crust pizza even as a breakfast menu.
